Getting Really Close ....
We have chosen a finally platform where the future of BBS would be on. There are trade off's of each package, but we have settled on one that we can easily develop more features specifically for BBSChinese. This means the development of BBS won't stop even after the day it is launched.
Now we are wrapping up all the features, prepare the forums, make sure all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted. A formal opening day will be announced very soon.

this is a cool logo. however, the bbs letter inside it does not make lot of sense.
the color of logo can be more exciting than blue. i like red better. that's a traditional chinese favorite color
I prefer the original designed by Lincoln. Simplicity is good enough. People care about the content. Two much color will make people uncomfortable reading the site at work.
Well said on simplicity. The new design is aiming for it. Now with the technology consolidated, there would be vast effort putting in on making the site look clean and simple for all.
Logo is not good, too common, make no sense
Thanks for you guys' hard work! Just one little advice: if the logo can be more "bbschinese"-oriented, it'd be cool.

Hi, can you just bring the site back fist? You can mess with the logo as much as you want afterwards, even though no one is gonna give a sh**, plus the logo design really sucked big time, is it the best you can come up with? simplicity my ass, I want more complication. Even the name "bbschinese" sounds stupid to me somehow. I have a name for you, how about "armpit"? because that's what this site smells like. it STINKS!
Bringing the site up involves work more than just a logo. This is not a one-man team. While one member is helping with the look and feel of the site, others are busy preparing the contents, testing and so on. I am glad people are waiting for it to come back.
This so-called team of bbschinese doe not know what they are doing now. Hopefully it will work out fine

First, I think the disparaging comments are completely uncalled for. If you don't like it, you have zillions websites to browse.
Second, if you care about the site, you should offer your comments or suggestions, instead of name-calling. Third, those bad words should have no place in our Chinese communities and online communities. You behaved like an American thug and you should be ashamed of yourself.
